Several hundred local teenagers have now been subjected to the Workshop's ministrations since its inception and the GOOD NEWS is that only about 5% have ventured into that terrible territory known as 'ShowBusiness'. Actually the REALLY GOOD NEWS is that, with the exception of the aforementioned 5%, all the others - according to our latest reports - are IN WORK. Our belief is that, thanks to their time at the Workshop, they now have a greater sense of self-esteem and, in between the day-to-day toil of paying the mortgage, are groping towards a recognition of their very own sense of purpose. What is particularly pleasing back here at the 'oasis in the desert' is how many former members keep in touch. Such actions surely say a lot.
